How to Visualize Domain Performance in Performance Insights
Performance Insights now has “Top Domain” reporting! In order to understand how your domains are performing, utilize ‘Domain’ as a widget, dimension, and a filter. There are a couple pieces of information to keep in mind when drilling down into Domain data.
When using Domain throughout your reporting experience, you will only see data on Domains from July 29th, 2020 onward. Please keep this in mind before escalating to support.
The domain refers to the email address that you are sending your emails to. For example, if you send an email to xyz@acoustic.com, Performance Insights will show all data for any of your customers with an @acoustic.com email domain.
To filter by domain, go to the filter domain and click Email domain.
To add a Top domains widget, go to Menu > Add widget > Top email domains.
To add a domain as a dimension in other widgets, go to Edit widget, then select Email domain as the primary or secondary dimension.
To replicate the old reporting Top domain report:
Within Old Reporting:
Within Performance Insights:
- Create the table in Performance insights by going to Menu > Add widget > Top email domains. This table is customizable, so you can edit it to suit your needs.
-
Filter by Domain to only see data for specific email domains like gmail.com.
- Visualize Domain in a chart or graph by adding Domain to any dimension on any widget.
