How to migrate DA tags from website to GTM?

One of our client has their DA tags hard-coded on their website without any tag management system & are looking to migrate their DA tags to GTM.

What are the steps to follow to ensure that all the tags are successfully migrated to the GTM.

  We recommend utilizing Acoustic Exchange Capture for managing Digital Analytics tags, because it provides comparable functionality to GTM and has native support for Digital Analytics tags. If you prefer to use GTM, please see our guidance below:

  1) Install and configure GTM container in test web site. There are many resources and how-to videos provided by GTM help sites and Google's documentation that can be utilized.

  2) Inventory the Digital Analytics tags. Evaluate which tags are being sent from what page, the events and associated parameter data, and the data source for each. 

  3) Create all the necessary tags, triggers, variables and datasources in GTM to replicate the Digital Analytics tags.

  Is there any documentation available regarding tag management capabilities within Exchange Capture for Acoustic Digital Analytics?  Is the Exchange Capture capability a standard feature within Exchange for all Acoustic Analytic customers?
