Configuring SugarCRM CRMi customization module
Review the following steps to plan your SugarCRM CRMi customization module installation.
Note: Coordinate a SugarCRM backup with your SugarCRM administrator before you import the module or activate your Scribe mapping. The backup is not required for the SugarCRM integration and is merely a suggested best practice before you integrate two database applications.
- Download and review the SugarCRM Checklist attached at the bottom of this article. This document is helpful for tracking how the integration is set up for future reference and change management. The following sections contain the articles mentioned in the checklist.
- If integration testing is needed, open a case to request Provisioning for a sandbox Acoustic Campaign organization and include enablement for SugarCRM integration. Make sure a sandbox CRM organization is available for testing. The integration uses the unique identifiers from CRM and Campaign to accurately match records in both environments, because of this process it is not recommended to mix sandbox and production data.
- After downloading the checklist document, you can rename it and save copies for the sandbox and production setup.
- If CRM integration support is needed for the configuration, open a case with Support specifying the Campaign organization name, and suggest some dates and times for conducting a 1 to 2-hour meeting to review your configuration needs.
