When you download sessions from the search result page, the session is archived as a Long-Term Storage (.lts) file, which is embedded in a PDF of the archived session.
These sessions are sometimes referred to as an "LTS" session.
From time to time, you must check the LTS sessions to verify that the sessions are capturing static content correctly.
There are two ways to check that an LTS session is capturing static content correctly.
- View the logs, which are part of the PDF that includes the embedded .lts file.
Note: Logs exist only if there are issues with the .lts file. If there is no log, you can safely assume that the LTS session is capturing the static content correctly.
- Replay the LTS session with Session Upload.
Note: Sometimes static content cannot be retrieved because Acoustic IP addresses are blocked by the origin website. See Security preventing retrieval of image and CSS files in Troubleshooting replay for more information.
