The Automate Behavior Update is an Acoustic Campaign feature independent of the Salesforce integration whereby a nightly update runs to set the Last Open Date, Clicked Date, and Sent Date for leads or contacts that performed the selected action during the previous day on emails. In general, Automated behavior updates run nightly to set the last action date for contacts or leads that performed the selected action during the previous day on any email to the selected database.
However, the nightly update does not update the Last Modified Date on the lead or the contact records themselves, therefore these nightly updates would not automatically synchronize to Salesforce even though the fields are available to map within the field mapping. Only when the record itself is modified, the Last Modified Date is updated, and the record will be picked up by the integrator and synchronized to Salesforce.
